Job Description

As a Molder, Shaper, and Caster, you will operate roller machinery to compact soil, asphalt, and other materials. Your role is critical to ensuring project specifications are met while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types of roller machinery as per project requirements.
• Provide training to new operators on safety and machine operation.
• Document all machine usage and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery issues and implementing fixes.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Requirements

Education

• Valid roller operator license/certification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating rollers in a construction environment

Technical Skills

• Understanding of roller machinery operations
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Attention to detail

Advantageous

• Experience operating different types of rollers (e.g., smooth drum, pneumatic): Hands-on experience with various roller types utilized in construction.
• Knowledge of compaction standards and techniques: Understanding of best practices in material compaction for construction projects.
