We are seeking a talented Agricultural Equipment Engineer to join our team in Weston-super-Mare. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing agricultural machinery that meets the evolving needs of modern farming.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative designs for agricultural machinery.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure feasibility of designs.
• Assess and improve the performance and reliability of existing equipment.
• Conduct material selection and testing for durability and efficiency.
• Engage with customers to tailor solutions for their agricultural practices.
• Analyze data from field trials to inform design decisions.
• Lead cross-functional projects to enhance product offerings.
• Document all engineering processes and modifications.
• Train staff on new equipment and technology.
• Attend industry events to network and stay abreast of market trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of hands-on experience in agricultural machinery development
