Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Environmental Economist to join our vibrant team. The role involves analysing economic factors associated with natural resource management, providing strategic recommendations, and contributing to sustainable practices across various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assess natural resource management strategies through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Participate in the creation of economic models to demonstrate the viability of sustainable practices.
  • Evaluate community-level impacts of environmental projects and initiatives.
  • Create policy recommendations based on thorough economic analysis.
  • Disseminate findings to stakeholders via reports and presentations.
  • Engage in public forums to discuss economic aspects of environmental policies.
  • Work with governmental bodies to implement effective environmental strategies.
  • Organise and present at industry conferences and workshops.
  • Facilitate discussions among cross-functional teams to align economic insights with project goals.
  • Contribute to grant writing and funding proposal development.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Environmental Economics preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
