Job Description

The Stummel Selector is responsible for selecting and sorting tobacco stummels used in the production of high-quality cigars. This role demands keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of tobacco quality factors, ensuring only the best stummels are used.

Responsibilities

• Identify and categorise tobacco stummels based on quality assessments.
• Assist with training new staff on sorting methods and quality standards.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for selected stummels to maintain freshness.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in the tobacco industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Quality control techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in the tobacco industry: Hands-on experience selecting and sorting tobacco stummels.
