Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Companion Animal Nutritionist, where you will create and execute tailored nutritional plans that enhance the health of companion animals. You’ll work closely with pet owners and veterinary professionals to implement the best dietary practices.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate specialised diets for animals with specific health conditions.
  • Review and assess pet food label claims for accuracy and compliance.
  • Work closely with clients to tailor nutrition plans to their pets' needs.
  • Stay informed on advancements in companion animal health and nutrition.
  • Document all consultations and recommendations accurately.
  • Attend networking events to enhance professional connections within the industry.
  • Advocate for animal welfare through education on nutritional best practices.
  • Engage with community partners for nutrition-related initiatives.
  • Present findings and research at industry conferences.

Requirements

Education
  • BSc/MSc in Animal Nutrition or Veterinary Science
  • PhD in related field could enhance your application
Experience
  • 3-5 years in companion animal nutrition or a similar role
