Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our growing team in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and investment strategies, with a focus on supporting our investment banking operations. You will be responsible for conducting market research, financial modeling, and preparing analytical reports to assist in decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of investment strategies based on market analysis.
• Perform risk assessments on potential investments and monitor market conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on investment goals.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memorandums for the board.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.
• Contribute to team discussions and strategy sessions with proactive input.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Relevant professional certification would be advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or investment banking

• Portfolio Management

Certifications

• CFA Level I or II preferred

Languages
