Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Accountant to join our Birmingham team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of payroll and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Advise management on financial planning and budgeting.
• Review financial data and suggest improvements.
• Perform variance analysis to better understand financial performance.
• Mentor junior accountants and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACCA or CIMA qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field

• Excel

Certifications

• ACCA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
