Job Description

As a Bicycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining bicycles, ensuring their safety and efficiency. Your expertise will help customers get the most out of their cycling experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on bicycles.
  • Undertake repairs and maintenance tasks on various bike models.
  • Replace or repair damaged components as necessary.
  • Tune and adjust gears, brakes, and other bike parts.
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate bike accessories and components.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on bike maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a bicycle mechanic training program or apprenticeship
  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., Cytech, Park Tool School, etc.)
Experience
  • Prior experience working as a bicycle mechanic in a professional setting is highly desirable.
