Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, project management, and a passion for developing sustainable infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering calculations and analysis to support project designs.
  • Liaise with government bodies and local authorities for project approvals.
  • Monitor construction progress against project milestones and timelines.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage procurement of materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental impact assessments.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to address concerns regarding projects.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained accurately and up-to-date.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify the quality and compliance of work.
  • Support the bid process for future projects by providing technical input.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Incorporated Engineer status (IEng) preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in the UK
