Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Nottingham. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement nursing care plans and monitor patient progress.
• Administer intravenous therapy and manage infusion devices.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient health.
• Educate patients on medication management and disease prevention.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and medical staff.
• Perform wound care and educate patients on wound management.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Assist with discharge planning and follow-up care coordination.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, ideally in acute care settings

Technical Skills

• Patient Assessment
• IV Therapy Management
• Patient Education

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Leadership

Certifications

• NMC Registration
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR): Proficiency in using EHR systems for patient documentation.
• Bilingual Candidates Preferred: Ability to speak another language in addition to English is a bonus.
