Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document patient medical histories accurately.
  • Educate patients on medication use and side effects.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in community outreach programs for health education.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
  • Engage in research activities to further nursing practice.
  • Provide mentorship to nursing students and new hires.
  • Implement evidence-based practices in patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings and professional committees.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
  • Further qualifications in advanced practice nursing would be beneficial
Experience
  • At least 3-5 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner
