Job Description

As a Structural Iron and Steel Worker, you will play a pivotal role in assembling and fabricating steel structures. This hands-on position requires skilled individuals with a keen eye for detail, aiming to ensure that every component meets the strict health and safety regulations while also aligning with our commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of the structure.
  • Utilize welding techniques to join components.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on assembled structures.
  • Coordinate with other construction teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Document processes and materials used in assembly.
  • Assist in training junior team members in best practices.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal training or apprenticeship in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
