Job Description

We are seeking a Cutter Grinder to set up and operate grinding machines, ensuring adherence to specifications for metal parts. You will interpret drawings, grind tools, and maintain the equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct setup and operation of grinding machines for tool production.
• Review engineering drawings and select suitable grinding parameters.
• Adjust machine settings based on ongoing quality assessments.
• Utilise precision measuring tools to confirm specifications.
• Engage with the production team to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Document all maintenance and production logs accurately.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout operations.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff members.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production objectives.
• Keep work areas organised and equipment in working order.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in machining or mechanical engineering

Experience

• 3+ years of experience operating grinding machines
