Job Description

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester. In this role, you will work closely with software developers and IT professionals to design, maintain, and improve our deployment and infrastructure processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud services and automation tools, enabling us to streamline operations and enhance system reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop automation scripts to enhance deployment efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance.
  • Manage cloud resource allocation and topology.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure their effectiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the development process and propose solutions.
  • Assist in setting and maintaining operational metrics and KPIs.
  • Perform root cause analysis on production issues to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
