Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Boring Crew Chief to lead our dedicated team in conducting test boring for geological and geotechnical analyses. The successful candidate will oversee the entire boring process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site preparation and establish safety protocols for test boring.
• Direct field operations and ensure quality control measures are met.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues immediately.
• Work collaboratively with engineers to determine site-specific needs.
• Utilise geotechnical software for data collection and analysis.
• Engage with clients to provide updates and gather project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local and national regulations regarding environmental impact.
• Implement training programs for new team members to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues before work begins.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and progress reports.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field

Experience

• At least 5 years in a relevant role with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
