Job Description

As a Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending lathes and turning machines to produce precision parts from metal and plastic materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load materials into lathe and turning machines.
• Monitor production processes and adjust parameters as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions.
• Generate reports on production metrics and equipment performance.
• Assist in the development of new manufacturing methods and practices.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machining or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a machining role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
