Job Description

As a Hatch Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing hatchery operations, ensuring successful breeding, incubation, and hatching of eggs. You will oversee the health and welfare of chicks and lead a dedicated team to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day hatchery operations and ensure adherence to production timelines.
  • Perform data analysis to track hatchery performance and identify potential improvements.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure that the hatchery adheres to regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of hatchery equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in Poultry Management or equivalent
Experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in hatchery management or poultry farming, with a proven track record of successful hatch rates and chick quality.
