Job Description
As a Hatch Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing hatchery operations, ensuring successful breeding, incubation, and hatching of eggs. You will oversee the health and welfare of chicks and lead a dedicated team to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day hatchery operations and ensure adherence to production timelines.
Perform data analysis to track hatchery performance and identify potential improvements.
Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Implement safety protocols and ensure that the hatchery adheres to regulatory standards.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of hatchery equipment.
Requirements
Education
GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Poultry Management or equivalent
Experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in hatchery management or poultry farming, with a proven track record of successful hatch rates and chick quality.
