Job Description

As a CNC Machine Programmer at Precision Engineering Ltd., you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering specifications to understand production needs.
  • Manage the setup and calibration of CNC machines for various projects.
  • Conduct quality checks on components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
  • Assist in the development of CNC programming procedures and protocols.
  • Work closely with engineering to make adjustments to machining processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Maintain a safe working environment according to health and safety regulations.
  • Document all processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational or technical qualification in CNC machining or related field
  • Apprenticeship or certification in CNC programming and machine operation is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CNC machine programming and operation.
