As a Social and Community Service Manager, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing programs that address the needs of our community. The successful candidate will work closely with both clients and external partners to deliver quality social services and advocate for their well-being.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implement welfare programs tailored to meet the unique needs of the local community.
  • Coordinate social services including healthcare, education, and employment support.
  • Develop partnerships with local organisations to promote community engagement.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee budget adherence and resource allocation for social service initiatives.
  • Lead a team of social workers and volunteers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders to enhance support and resources for community members.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to address any potential challenges.
  • Promote and uphold the values and mission of the organisation in all community interactions.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) preferred
  • Communication Skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management Experience in managing social service projects successfully.
  • Budget Management Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Problem-solving Skilled in identifying issues and formulating effective solutions.
  • Empathy Strong empathy and understanding of client needs and challenges.
  • First Aid certification
  • English (Fluent)

  • Experience in Crisis Intervention: Skills in providing immediate support during crises.
  • Work with Diverse Populations: Experience working with varied cultural and social groups.
