We are seeking a skilled and experienced Poleman to join our team. The Poleman will be responsible for various tasks related to pole installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires strong knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols, ensuring all work is conducted efficiently and within compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of utility poles and surrounding areas.
• Replace damaged or decayed poles in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of installation and maintenance activities.
• Work in various weather conditions to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with the training of junior polemen and new employees.
• Engage in regular safety training and workshops.
• Ensure high standards of health and safety are followed at all times.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Further qualifications in a related field are advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field.

Technical Skills

• Safety Procedures Knowledge
• Blueprint Reading

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Working at Heights Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
