Job Description

As a Pig Conveyor Operator at AgriTech Solutions, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our conveyor systems, ensuring the smooth transportation of pigs throughout the farm. This role is critical in maintaining animal welfare and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate the conveyor systems for the safe and efficient transportation of pigs.
• Perform routine inspections of the machinery, report any faults, and assist in repairs.
• Ensure the conveyor systems are cleaned and maintained to comply with hygiene standards.
• Work with other departments to streamline the transportation process.
• Document all processes and keep accurate transport logs.
• Implement animal welfare best practices during handling and transport.
• Maintain a tidy and organised workspace.
• Participate in team meetings to improve efficiency and safety in operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role within the agricultural or farming industry is advantageous.
