Job Description

The Pre-School Director will oversee the management and operations of the preschool, ensuring top-notch education and care for children aged 2 to 5. This role involves engaging with parents, staff, and the community to provide a supportive environment for children's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the pre-school team.
  • Maintain compliance with all childcare regulations and organisational policies.
  • Develop and implement an engaging curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Create a welcoming environment for families and keep open lines of communication.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
  • Organise training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
  • Monitor the progress and wellbeing of each child, implementing support as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with external agencies and early years professionals for collaborative support.
  • Evaluate the efficacy of educational programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • A relevant degree in Education or Management is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in working with children with special educational needs and disabilities is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with preschool management software

Languages
  • English: Fluent
