Molding Process Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Molding Process Technician to join our manufacturing team in Manchester. You will play a crucial role in managing the molding processes, ensuring optimal operation and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Manage the setup and operation of injection molding machines.
• Monitor the molding process to meet production and quality targets.
• Identify and rectify process inefficiencies and defects in real time.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions.
• Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and production activities.
• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles across the department.
• Supervise the mold changeover process and ensure proper installation.
• Maintain effective communication with production and engineering teams.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Relevant Technical Certification or Diploma preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in molding or relevant manufacturing roles.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a supervisory role: Experience in leading a small team of manufacturing technicians.
