Automotive Spray Painter

Job Description

As an Automotive Spray Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles to the highest standards. You will utilise various spray techniques and paint mixing methods to ensure colour accuracy and uniformity, while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mask vehicles for painting.
• Mixing and adjusting paint colours as per customer specifications.
• Utilise spray guns and brushes for applying paint effectively.
• Inspect painted vehicles for imperfections and rectify them before delivery.
• Keep accurate records of paints used and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in training new staff in paint application techniques.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to promote efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Equivalent qualifications in automotive painting or refinishing

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in vehicle refinishing.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Paint Finishing
• Knowledge of Paint Products

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
