Job Description

As a Health Records Technology Teacher, you'll be responsible for educating students on the use of health information management systems, fostering a practical understanding of technology in healthcare settings. Your role will include developing engaging lesson plans and mentoring students eager to enter the field.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a dynamic learning environment by engaging students in meaningful discussions.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Conduct regular workshops to keep students up-to-date with industry standards.
  • Foster relationships with local healthcare providers for student placements.
  • Encourage students to undertake group projects and collaborate effectively.
  • Regularly review and update course materials, ensuring they meet current market needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or related field
  • Master's Degree in Health Information Management preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Health Records Technology or related subjects
