Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to oversee and manage our database systems in Swansea. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL, performance tuning, and data security. You will ensure data integrity, support our development team, and optimise database performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data models based on user requirements.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to integrate databases with other systems.
  • Perform patch management for database systems to ensure system integrity.
  • Develop and manage scripts for automation of routine tasks.
  • Establish and maintain backup and recovery procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Information Systems is preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant database experience
