Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care for pets, with an ability to handle a variety of cases and deliver quality service to our clients. You will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating animals, ensuring their health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat surgical and medical cases.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of veterinary best practices.
  • Provide compassionate care for animals and their owners.
  • Participate in emergency care and after-hours consultations.
  • Assist in research and clinical studies as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in a clinical environment
