• Interpret engineering drawings accurately and execute cutting tasks as specified.
• Handle and operate cutting equipment effectively and safely.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet all specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Implement safety measures and protocols to reduce workplace hazards.
• Manage material inventory and report any shortages promptly.
• Work under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and strategies.
• Engage in ongoing training to improve skill sets and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in metal fabrication is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication or cutting roles

Technical Skills

• Steel types knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with CNC machinery: Proven experience operating CNC machines for precision cutting.
