Production Floor Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Derry facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to ensure efficiency and quality across the production line.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the production floor.
• Incorporate feedback from team members to optimize workflows.
• Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct regular safety audits and enforce compliance.
• Oversee the handling and storage of raw materials.
• Assist in new product launches and trials.
• Drive initiatives for waste reduction and efficiency.
• Engage with external vendors for supply chain management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field
• HND in Manufacturing or related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Production Scheduling Software
• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
