Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Control Mechanic to join our team. As a Fire Control Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire control systems in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer's guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections on fire control systems to verify compliance with regulations.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on fire safety equipment.
  • Document all inspections and maintenance activities meticulously as part of compliance requirements.
  • Resolve any technical issues with the fire control systems on-site.
  • Provide training sessions to staff on fire safety and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer guidelines for fire safety equipment.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and staff manuals.
  • Stay informed about new technologies in fire safety and control systems.
  • Engage in teamwork and communication with cross-departmental colleagues.
  • Implement emergency response and fire evacuation drills.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certification in fire control systems or a related field (e.g., Fire Systems Technician)
Experience
  • Prior experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire control systems preferred.
