Job Description

As an Ambulance Driver and Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and timely transportation for patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a valid UK driving licence, and a commitment to ensuring the wellbeing of patients during transit.

Responsibilities

• Drive ambulances for the safe transportation of patients.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and traffic laws.
• Assist patients with any mobility issues during loading and unloading.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Document all journeys and report any anomalies.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service whilst on duty.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Assist with emergency medical equipment as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• First Aid certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar driving role.
