MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our capable team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal parts together using MIG welding techniques. Ideal candidates should have a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performing MIG welding on various metal components and assemblies.
• Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assisting in training new welding personnel.
• Maintaining inventory of welding supplies and materials.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Collaborating with QA team for on-going improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Vocational Qualification in Welding or Engineering

Experience

• Experience with other welding techniques is a plus.

Technical Skills

• TIG Welding
• Welding Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional Welding Certifications: Further certifications in other welding methods are advantageous.
• Experience in Quality Assurance: Background in QA processes or standards in a welding environment.
