Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and executing civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Key responsibilities include designing, analysing, and supervising various construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Utilize engineering software to design and analyse structures.
  • Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from regulatory agencies.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
  • Prepare contract documents and manage procurement processes.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project status and compliance.
  • Evaluate project costs and prepare financial forecasts.
  • Foster a culture of safety on the job site.
  • Ensure sustainability practices are adhered to during project execution.
  • Support ongoing professional development and training of team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering projects
