Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Gastronomy UK in Edinburgh. If you have a flair for preparing exquisite dishes and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to run the kitchen smoothly.
  • Prepare a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
  • Assist in inventory control and menu costings.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
  • Ensure the team works efficiently and effectively.
  • Encourage a positive team culture and lead by example.
  • Address any guest feedback or complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements

Education
  • Culinary Degree or equivalent
  • Specialised training in pastry or a specific cuisine is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years in a high-pressure kitchen environment
