Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender who will play a critical role in our production process. The ideal candidate will manage the operations of the Ripsaw Machine, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of woodworking machines including Ripsaws for cutting logs.
• Make adjustments to machine settings based on the type of wood being processed.
• Record and report production data and machine performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in quality control inspections.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational Training in Wood Processing or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Machine Calibration

Languages

• English: Fluent
