Cured Meat Packing Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Cured Meat Packing Supervisor to oversee our packing operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in meat packing, demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the packaging team, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee the training of new team members in packing procedures.
• Develop and implement improved packing methods to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure all materials are handled and stored properly.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain incident logs.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the packing area.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to resolve any product quality issues.
• Prepare daily reports for management review.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cured meat packing or a similar role.
