Job Description

We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our team in Newcastle. You will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and communicate any abnormalities.
• Implement infection control measures.
• Facilitate patient discharge planning.

• Attend continuous education sessions to maintain skills.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
• Postgraduate diploma in critical care nursing is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting

Technical Skills

• Medication administration
• Emergency response

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Certified Infection Control (CIC) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Specialty in paediatric nursing: Experience and training in caring for children and adolescents.
• Training in palliative care: Skill in providing care for patients with life-limiting illnesses.
