Job Description

As a Train Clerk at Railway Operations Ltd., you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of train services. Your responsibilities will include assisting passengers with ticketing, providing essential travel information, and managing customer inquiries. A customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the ticketing process and assist with ticket validations.
  • Ensure that customers receive timely and accurate travel information.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer service inquiries.
  • Prepare daily reports on ticket sales and passenger numbers.
  • Assist in training new team members on ticketing systems and procedures.
  • Monitor train schedules and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss operational improvements.
  • Develop solutions to enhance the customer experience at the station.

Requirements

Education
  • Customer service or hospitality training/certification is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in a railway or transportation role is advantageous.
