Machine Feeders and Offbearers

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Machine Feeders and Offbearers to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating machinery, feeding materials, and ensuring efficient production flow. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up production machinery and machines.
• Feed materials into machinery and ensure proper operation.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep track of production quantities and report to supervisors.
• Follow the standard operating procedures for each machine.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
• Continuously monitor production processes to optimise workflow.
• Provide feedback for process improvements as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English

Experience

• 2+ years experience in a similar role is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Safety Procedures Knowledge
• Machinery Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Having a certification in First Aid would be advantageous.
• Experience with ERP Systems: Understanding of enterprise resource planning systems used in manufacturing.
