Ink Technician

Job Description

As an Ink Technician, you'll be at the forefront of ink formulation and production, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. Your role will involve creating, testing, and managing ink formulations for various printing technologies, including flexography and digital printing.

Responsibilities

• Develop new ink formulations based on customer specifications.
• Perform quality assurance checks on ink batches.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Assist with the development of new printing technologies.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality.
• Work closely with the sales team to fulfil customer orders.
• Train junior staff on ink formulation processes.
• Participate in research and development projects for new inks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ink formulation and testing

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of ink formulation and testing
• Analytical skills
• Computer skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Certifications

• Certification in Color Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with UV or Water-based inks: Knowledge and experience working with environmentally-friendly inks.
• Experience with regulatory compliance: Familiarity with REACH, GHS, and other relevant regulations.
