Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Logistics Development Manager based in Birmingham. This role involves enhancing operational efficiency, managing logistics teams, and implementing innovative solutions to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate logistics performance and optimize processes for improved efficiency.
  • Lead logistics projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define supply chain objectives and strategies.
  • Develop training programs for staff on logistics best practices.
  • Review and analyze logistics data and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues affecting service delivery.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental coordination to maintain effective supply chain management.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on logistics performance and cost savings.
  • Implement sustainable practices within the logistics processes.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and systems into logistics operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics management
