Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting data and conducting surveys across various sites to gather essential information for construction and engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform geodetic and topographic surveys to define property boundaries.
  • Utilise GPS and GIS technology for precise data collection.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of survey projects.
  • Assist in the training of junior staff in survey techniques and equipment use.
  • Ensure all survey activities meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Analyse survey data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Develop and update survey plans and methodologies.
  • Conduct quality checks on survey deliverables before submission.
  • Engage with clients to discuss survey requirements and provide updates.
  • Stay current with advancements in surveying technology and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field
  • Professional certification in surveying is preferred but not essential.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in surveying or a related field, with land and construction surveying experience highly desirable.
