Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will be instrumental in promoting health initiatives across Birmingham. You will work collaboratively with local communities and health services to develop strategies that tackle health inequalities and improve public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of health promotion programmes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health interventions.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community groups.
  • Work alongside healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery.
  • Gather feedback from communities to improve health services.
  • Compile reports on public health findings and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with public health regulations.
  • Advise on health policy formulation and implementation.
  • Conduct research on emerging public health issues.
  • Liaise with media to enhance public health messaging.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
