Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Sound Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing sound equipment used in various settings such as live events, recording studios, and theaters. The ideal candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting skills and a keen understanding of sound systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of audio equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Assist in the design of sound setups for various applications.
  • Manage the logistics of transporting sound equipment to and from events.
  • Work closely with other technicians to ensure cohesive performance setups.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules for all sound equipment.
  • Respond swiftly to troubleshooting requests during live events.
  • Develop user manuals for sound equipment and training documentation.
  • Provide feedback on the system performance to improve future setups.
  • Collaborate with production staff to enhance sound delivery.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new technicians regarding equipment use.

  • Relevant certifications in sound engineering or related disciplines
