Job Description

Empower Communities Ltd. is on the lookout for Community and Social Service Specialists to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting diverse community initiatives, providing guidance to individuals in need, and collaborating with local organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute community outreach strategies to connect with underrepresented populations.
  • Identify gaps in services within the community and propose solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to design community programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals seeking assistance.
  • Create promotional materials to inform the public about services available.
  • Evaluate the impact of programs and suggest necessary improvements.
  • Facilitate group sessions and workshops for community enhancement.
  • Engage in advocacy efforts to promote community interests.
  • Coordinate with external partners to maximize service delivery.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in social services or community outreach
