Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Cambridge. In this role, you will lead local health initiatives aimed at preventing disease, promoting health, and ensuring health services are accessible to all. The ideal candidate will have a background in public health, excellent communication skills, and a passion for community well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct epidemiological studies to assess health issues.
  • Work with community partners to develop health policies.
  • Implement health promotion strategies in schools and community centres.
  • Evaluate community health outcomes and report findings.
  • Coordinate vaccination drives and other preventive measures.
  • Engage in public speaking and promotion of health literacy.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with research institutions for public health studies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is strongly preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health policy and administration
