Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Building Inspector to inspect building sites and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture or engineering and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Evaluate building plans and specifications to ensure adherence to regulations.
Conduct inspections at various stages of construction.
Provide guidance to builders on compliance issues.
Review previous inspection reports and follow up on outstanding issues.
Ensure all documentation is thorough and accurate.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Membership in a professional body (RICS or similar) is advantageous
Experience
3+ years of experience in building inspection or construction
