Job Description

As a Building Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of various construction projects in Salisbury. Your expertise in evaluating building plans and inspecting structures will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished buildings to ensure they meet project specifications and codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
  • Collaborate with other inspectors and compliance officers.
  • Assist in scheduling inspections and managing inspection workflow.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Report inspection results and compliance issues to management.
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

Education
  • HND or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying is a plus
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction or building inspection
