The Timber Framer Helper will assist in all aspects of timber framing, including material preparation and frame assembly. This role is ideal for those seeking to gain experience in construction, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Prepare timber for framing and assist in layout.
Engage in the assembly and installation of timber frames.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the worksite.
Keep tools organized and in safe working condition.
Collaborate closely with the timber framers to ensure quality work.
Learn and apply timber and joinery techniques.
Support site safety activities and protocols.
Assist in the use of power and hand tools.
Engage in continuous learning and skill development.
Contribute to team meetings and project planning discussions.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Training or apprenticeship in construction is preferred
Experience
No previous experience required, but construction or timber framing experience is advantageous.
Technical Skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
