Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Horticulture Superintendent to lead our horticultural activities. The ideal candidate will oversee a dynamic team of horticulturists, ensuring successful project execution and exceptional landscape management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily activities of horticultural staff and manage workloads.
  • Facilitate training and development for horticulturists.
  • Collaborate with landscape designers to enhance aesthetic appeal.
  • Implement sustainability practices within horticultural operations.
  • Direct budgeting and resource allocation for projects.
  • Engage with clients to meet their horticultural needs.
  • Provide expert advice on plant selection and maintenance.
  • Participate in workshops and conferences to enhance professional knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Horticulture or Agriculture is preferred
  • Professional certifications in landscape management would be an asset

  • 5+ years of experience in leading horticulture teams
